Accreditation
NEWS IQ is an independent third party ISO/IEC 17025 accredited and
9001/2:1994 registered test laboratory, American Association of Laboratory
Accreditation (A2LA) Testing Certificate 1990.01. The ISO 17025 International
Standard not only addresses our quality system but authorization and
approval to our testing competence.
In addition, NEWS IQ Labs is authorized to perform CCF & CTIA Certification Testing for 1xEVDO Rev "A", 1xEVDO, cdma2000 and cdmaOne (dual and tri-mode handsets)
as a CTIA Authorized Testing Laboratory (CATL) & CCF Test Lab.
NEWS IQ Labs has also been approved by many carriers: Including
Verizon.
NEWS IQ Labs was the first CCF certified test Lab.
As a result of these credentials, coupled with capable engineering
staff experience, NEWS IQ can offer services, from 1xEV-DO Rev "A" & "B" and gpsOne Position Location Test System (PLTS) to cdma2000 "Stage 2"
protocol testing (Spirent AirAccess C2K - TIA/EIA-898) to enhanced
data services testing and CDG 28 and 64 Stage 3 infrastructure interoperability
field testing.

NEWS IQ also benefits from the use of Lindgren EMI/RFI enclosures
for RF compliance / -100+dB
Background
NEWS IQ's wireless test,
certification and product commercialization experience, including
international carrier experience, wireless product and application
commercialization experience and CDMA system validation (end to
end) and commercialization experience.
NEWS IQ Labs staff was directly responsible as corporate systems
analysts and core team members of the commercial launch of the Bellsouth
and Pactel analog cellular systems in 1992-3, initial TDMA launch
with McCaw Cellular One in southern Florida in 1993; introduction
of CDPD in 1994-5; commercial launch of CDMA system in Korea and
the USA with Airtouch Powerband in Van Nuys, CA in 1995-6; CDMA
system with GTE in Austin, TX in 1996; and GTE national Telego.
NEWS IQ Labs continues to support the efforts of wireless module
commercial adoption and experience with industry standards and technologies,
and integrating modules into many different market segments: Automated
machine-to-machine (M2M), EMS, Fire and other Emergency Services,
Public Transit & Transportation, Vehicle Tracking - AVT, Field
Service & Mobile Dispatch, Utility Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) and Telemetry. .
