Affiliations
NEWS IQ maintains important industry affiliations with the CDMA Development
Group (CDG), CDMA Americas Congress, Cellular Telecommunications and
Internet Association (CTIA) and the Third Generation Partnership Project
2 (3GPP2).
Partnerships
NEWS IQ is able to provide services unlike any other wireless test
organization because of its knowledge base and outstanding infrastructure,
which includes valuable strategic partnerships that are focused on
delivering total end-to-end services.
In addition, NEWS IQ Labs has a strong partnership with QUALCOMM,
Inc. NEWS IQ was the first QUALCOMM certified test facility
to conduct Terminal Rapid Acceptance for CDMA (TRAC) testing services
and contracted to continue with the TRAC testing worldwide.
NEWS IQ Labs also maintains strong partnerships with Agilent
Technologies and Spirent
Communications, utilizing
the most up-to-date Test equipment from both organizations.
NEWS IQ uses Agilent's 8960 Series 10, which can be configured for
W-CDMA, cdma2000, 1xEV-DO, IS-95, GSM, GPRS, TIA-EIA-136 and AMPS
mobile phone testing.
NEWS IQ also uses Agilent's equipment to test 802.11a,b, g Wireless
LAN Access Point and PC Card RF Physical Layer 1 (Agilent 89641 VSA
(DC to 6GHz) and E4438C ESG (6GHz)). NEWS IQ takes advantage of Spirent's
C2K-ATS CDMA2000 Automatic Test System. Spirent C2K CDMA/CDG 1&2 test
solutions (TIA/EIA-98E, TIA-898) are available as well as its PLTS
Position Location Test System (TIA/EIA/IS-801-1 and TIA-916). NEWS
IQ Labs also uses Spirent's SmartBits equipment (WLAN /802.11 a,b,g
Testing) and Spirent Smart Applications ATE software for Layer 2 (Data
Link), Layer 3 (Network Control) and Layer 4 (Transport) throughout
and benchmarking.
