NEWS IQ's years of experience with carrier network and handset technologies include both CDMA and GSM; testing CDMA cellular/PCS (dual/tri-mode); and Sprint PCS and CTIA certification testing. NEWS IQ Labs have also developed alliances with carriers and handset vendors who will rely on the new Terminal Rapid Acceptance for CDMA (TRAC) testing, certification and commercialization program.

NEWS is authorized to perform CTIA Certification Testing for cdma2000, cdmaOne and AMPS (dual and tri-mode handsets) as a CCF & CTIA (CATL) Authorized Testing Laboratory. NEWS IQ has also fulfilled the Verizon & Sprint acceptance criteria as an approved CDMA certification lab.

Our Cellular Network Application Compatibility Testing includes test case design and implementation to verify that Java, J2ME and WAP applications function as designed and are compatible with the network. In addition, NEWS IQ Labs have experience testing standard handset features as well as downloadable ringers and images and additional applications.

Over the years, NEWS IQ Labs has worked successfully with a variety of carriers, Manufactures and Carriers including; QUALCOMM, Sony, Via, Verizon Wireless, Sprint PCS, Western Wireless, T-mobile, Cingular.
