Executive Team
Our management staff has in excess of 80 combined years of Cellular/PCS
manufacturing and testing experience and are recognized and respected
by domestic and foreign wireless carriers.
Mr. James J Fraley
Mr. Fraley has over 20 years of telecommunications management and
engineering experience. He played a key roll in the commercialization
of both CDMA and GPS into consumer wireless devices. Mr. Fraley
founded Iconn Wireless Inc. to develop CDMA wireless engines for
handheld applications. In 2001, Wavecom S.A (Nasdaq: WVCM), the
global number one wireless modules supplier acquired Iconn Wireless
Inc. Mr. Fraley was Vice President of Business Development at NeoPoint
Inc. responsible for strategic business development for next generation
smart phones. He was the Manager of Technology Transfer at SnapTrack
Inc. for transfer of GPS embedded software solution to chipset manufactures.
In addition, Mr. Fraley held the position of Director Product Realization
at Samsung, where he played a significant roll in establishing their
entry into the US market place resulting in Samsung becoming the
primary vendor to Sprint PCS. He was also responsible for Sony's
re-launch of RX100 and CMD-500 wireless devices as Product Manager
and Product Test and Verification Manager. Mr. Fraley also worked
at Oki Telecom and supported the original technical CDMA trials
in Los Angeles (Van Nuys) with AirTouch, Motorola, and Qualcomm.
Mr. Dave Stone
Dave has served in various radio frequency design and manufacturing
engineering capacities for the last 20 years. Dave has concentrated
on commercial cellular and PCS CDMA terminal equipment for the past
eight years.
Dave currently holds the position of lab manager. Dave's responsibilities
include quality manager, test application engineering and is a member
of CDG WG4.2 test team. Prior to News IQ Inc. Dave served as the
Denso Field and Interoperability Test Group Section Manager and
directly supervised a group of six test engineers and completed
multiple CDMA handset test projects. Responsibilities included CDG
Stage 2,3 testing, pre-production design verification testing, product
launch support and postproduction carrier technical support for
all Denso CDMA mobile handsets and telematics.
Back in 1996, Dave served as Lead Field Service Engineer for Sony
Electronics Inc. in the Wireless Field Engineering department, where
he played a key role with Sony launching CDMA products on time for
1996 and 1997.
